While for us it is a case of shame, there exists a world in the UK where kids are confident that cows lay eggs. According to a recent study, 3 out of 10 children aged six to 11 do not even know that tuna comes from fish and one-tenth say they have never tasted cherry tomato.
02/ The research findings
The study was conducted by a charity and a kitchen appliance firm with a sample size of 1,000 school kids. It revealed that one in three primary school children in Britain think that cows lay eggs. The study was conducted to check the awareness and education level of kids. And the result came as a shock and embarrassment for their parents and school teachers.
